Personal Interests

Dr. Sabahi lives in Reston, VA. He enjoys travel, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.


Dr. Sabahi earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He then completed his residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of South Alabama where he was also appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the department of gastroenterology. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions, and his practice interests include colon cancer screening and prevention, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease (diagnosis and treatment of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), as well as various liver disorders. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. His passion for the area brought him to Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates to serve the community of Northern Virginia. He currently resides in Reston, VA.
