She began her career as a registered nurse on a cardiac telemetry unit and transitioned to emergency medicine at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. Lois provides compassionate care, while improving quality of life for patients struggling with gastrointestinal (GI) distress.  

In collaboration with physicians at Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates, Lois diagnoses and treats patients struggling with a wide variety of GI-related illnesses to help them feel better. She offers relief for patients with new symptoms and those who have dealt with unpleasant GI symptoms for years. 

Lois is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She maintains her advanced medical credentials with continuing education in the latest advances in GI diagnostics and treatments to ensure top-quality care for all of her patients.

In her free time, Lois stays busy chasing after her three boys, spending time outdoors, and enjoying football with friends and family. She looks forward to helping patients feel better at Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates and welcomes them to the practice.
